Make sure you go and check out all the other blogs at
OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY hosted by our wonderful Susan http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

The picture below is in Quito Ecuador. If you enlarge the picture you can see the airstrip right down the middle of the city. This city sets right in the middle of the mountains.  The picture on the right is the beautiful Matterhorn.  This picture was taken from our hotel.

We both love mountains.  When we lived in Europe we actually lived about 4 miles from the Heidelberg Castle about the same height of the mountain it is on.  I have added some random pictures of mountains we have taken over the years

The oil painting below is one I did several years ago as a gift to someone in the church we attended.
The painting is done from a  photograph we took in Bavaria.

Gorgeous mountain shots. I too love mountains but my love of the beach is a little bit stronger! One day I hope to combine them. Great painting!

Beautiful painting! I have always envied those who had your talent!

Each of your photos should be poster size. I actually did that for six of my favorite Yorkshire photos, and hung them in our spare bedroom, now known as 'The Yorkshire Room.' :-)

Thanks for your kind comment on Cranberry Morning!
