Vintage Things: Family Silver
Family heirlooms mean more to me than my husband as is normal. So when Bob's mother and father started going through some of their things and asked if I wanted this place setting I was very excited. I actually belonged to MFL's mother. She passed away when MFL was only 4. So to have something that belonged to her is very special. MFL is 82 now so I know the silver is at least 78 years old. As far as I know this is the only place setting left. I framed it in a shadow box frame and it hangs in out dinning room.
The words are
family
shares your past,
shapes your future,
and loves you for who you are.
hmm, this picture tells me it's time to get out the silver polish!
Thanks for coming by. Debbie

Such a great idea. I've been thinking about putting my grandmother's spoons in a shaddowbox. Great post!
