Y would we want to explore the world of Y?
Because joining Jenny
at Alphabe-Thursday is so much fun.
So here goes my try at Y.
come join in... at http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/
or a Yellow Jacket
This picture was taken in Maine when we went whale watching. We bought the jackets and were sure glad we did. Boy was it COLD!
1 a : a continuous often plied strand composed of either natural or man-made fibers or filaments and used in weaving and knitting to form cloth b : a similar strand of another material (as metal, glass, or plastic)
Ok enough is enough right?
Maybe you would appreciate it if I just wouldn't Yack so much
Yak....
a large long-haired wild or domesticated ox (Bos grunniens syn. B. mutus)
of Tibet and adjacent elevated parts of central Asia
Hope you had a good laugh at my attempt at the letter Y

You are a clever girl! Love your graphics and your words, very good post! I am now a follower!
Great y post! I will take the jacket that is yellow any day over the bee. :-)
I love it and I did not know about the spinning yarn as a tall tale....good stuff...bkm
Yea for all the Y words! Yackity yack yack.... Love Alphabet Thursdays and meeting new people.
Very clever and original! You made me smile. Especially the totally zipped up jacket while whale watching!
Seeing that yellow jacket zipped up tight while whale watching is making me long for cooler temps...maybe not that cool, but some relief from these triple digits! Fun Y post :-)
I would totally pick the coat over the bee/wasp choice! Cute post!
This was a fun "Y" post! You found some fabulous illustrations!
Very clever take on 'Y'.
I'd like to have a yellow jacket, please, as opposed to a Yellow Jacket!
Great Y post! Love the play on words...(no yellow jacket for me, if buzzing)!
Love your blog header!! Thanks for visiting me. I love your Y's. I did have to laugh, last night my daughter and I went out for a nice dinner alone. There was a an 8 year old boy at the next table that yaked and yaked through out the whole dinner, I want to ask his mother to put a mussel on him for awhile.lol
Debbie your Y post was brilliant and thank you for visiting mine
I love your Y post! Well done. :)
Thanks for visiting me!
I thoroughly enjoyed your clever "Y" post. Good use of homophones or homonyms...whatever they are called now!
What a fun "Y" post! I would definitely prefer a "yellow jacket" of the wearable kind :o) & either activities of the "spinning of yarn" would be lots of fun...and you do not yack too much at all :o) Cute yak to get to coloring on :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
thank you for stopping by my "Y" post...I tend to be a lengthy "Yacker" on my blog...so hard for me not to be so wordy! :o)
very clever and fun--love your 2-takes!
Thank you for visiting my Y-post with my guest jewellery-artist Yvonne Stark's Y-necklaces.
You certainly put together a Y-post with lots of good Y-words with interesting images. I usually have more pictures on my alphabet-posts, but this time I gave Yvonne's images center-stage.
Best wishes,
Anna
