It's time for
Blue Skies
and Butterflies                                                                  I'm joining Sally with all the other great Blue Monday posts.
The beautiful butterfly was in my flower bed yesterday!
It took a lot of shots to get one good one. Thank goodness for Digital cameras!

I chose a room today that I think you might enjoy seeing and maybe challenging you to
"SPREAD YOUR WINGS
and try something new.  This room was done for a young teen and the inspiration for it was her favorite clock which was lime green, pink and purple.

First I painted the room a light  sky BLUE (therefore it qualifies for BLUE MONDAY right?)  I didn't want a harsh line at the top of the room so I used the ceiling white to bring clouds down about a foot around the room and then added a few others.  These butterflies and dragonflies were large cartoon style and I so much fun to paint.

If you don't have a steady hand for the fine lines you can use a sharpie after all is dry.  Just realize that with any bright colors and pen you will have to    it to cover it up.
If you can bring yourself to cover up your creation.

Don't ever stop dreaming and spread your wings!
Thanks for coming by!
I really appreciate the time and love hearing from you.
 Have a great week.
Debbie

Debbie, I am so glad you visited me... and I found your blog. My goodness... what talent. Just this morning, DD and I are discussing our plan of attack to paint the family room... just 1 color and nothing as delightful as your painting techniques. I will be back to look around a bit.

Have a wonderful day. Happy Blue Monday, too.
