Thanks for coming by today.  This was written by my granddaughter. I gave her the link up so she can read your comments.  She is 14.  It's worth the read. Debbie
"I'm a f-a-n-a-t-i-c, fanatic,
I'll rep Christ till I d-i-e, fanatic.
I'm not extreme, I'm redeemed with faith
to serve a God who's extremely great,
Imma fanatic

The world's trying to tidy up,
exfoliate they skin,
but only Christ can come and exfoliate they sin..."

Lately, Christians world-wide have been given a bad reputation. Throughout the past, certain Christians have done things to make every other Christian look bad.
The thing is, we're not. Most Christians are just having a relationship with a God who can forgive easier, be more graceful, have more mercy, and hold more power than any other "God."
This week, I went to a church camp for the 8th time, I've gone since I was 7 years old. I was the second oldest person there, because two of my best friends are younger than me, and I wanted to stay with them.
Everyone was younger than me, which was fine with me. During services, I would be walking around, watching 10 year olds crying, shaking, dancing, and just going crazy for God. It was beautiful. Anything that makes us that happy has to be good.
One of my friends wasn't really Christian. She was sort of, she read her Bible, went to church on Sundays, but she wasn't really devoted. On the 3rd service, all of our group was praying for her to receive the Holy Spirit. There were so  many voices in the room- the whole camp had around 400 students- so you couldn't really hear anything specific, so I yelled in her ear what a counselor had yelled to me the year I was filled with the Holy Spirit:
"Do you want this?"
She nodded, almost in tears, and I smiled.
"So tell him."
Then I left, as she was yelling how much she loves God, Jesus, her savior...
That night, she was filled with the Spirit, and you could just tell how much happier she was.
This has all been very random, but my main point is this:
As Christians in today's society, there are going to be obstacles. The Devil is going to throw things in our way, road blocks, illness, death, temptation... But in order to remain positive influences, we need to STAY strong. We need to walk down the street and have people know that we are children of God.
The things that the material world offers us is like candy. It looks good, tastes good, but once it's gone, it gave us no nutritional value, it didn't really help us in any way.
But what God has to offer us is the good stuff. Proteins, vegetables, fruits... Things that may  not look good at first, but you know it's good for you.
You can't live life fully on a diet of candy.

It is very inspiring to read about young people living out their Christian faith. I know we have hope as a country and nation of God, when I hear these stories. God Bless You!

Wise words from the mouth of a child... God tells us that we too must become like a child to enter the Kingdom of God. (Matt.18) Perhaps this beautiful 14 years old girl is leading the way for many...

To the granddaughter: Truly I felt the Spirit as I read your post. Never, never forget this love you have for Him and never let anyone dampen your knowledge of His love for you.

Blessings,
Linda J

Young child, don't ever lose that zeal for the Lord. Let is grow and mature until you are so much like Christ no one will be able to stand in your presence without either being convicted by the Holy Spirit or breaking out in worship. God be with you and sustain you. Bobbi

HOW VERY BEAUTIFUL IT IS TO SEE GOD'S FUTURE LEADERS FULL OF THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO BE...NOT BECAUSE IT WAS POUNDED INTO THEM AND THEY PRETENDED TO BE FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
I PRAY GOD'S MERCY, GRACE AND ANGELS OF PROTECTION AROUND THIS BLESSED CHILD AS SHE MARCHES FORWARD SPREADING GOD'S LOVE. MAY SHE ALWAYS LOOK TOWARD GOD AND NEVER BE INFLUENCED BY PEER PRESSURE. THANK YOU SWEET JESUS...AMEN AND AMEN.
SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL WRITER. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
