GermanVintage Clock
from trash to treasure.

When we bought this clock in Germany it was painted blue.  If I remember right we paid $5. for it.  It took lots of work to get it back to the original wood especially the tiny bead work down the sides.  The face was all scratched so I painted the metal and numbers.  We have several clocks that I plan on sharing for the next few weeks.  This one has a beautiful deep bong.  Unfortunately it has to hang crooked to keep running.

The crookedness adds to its charm!

Oh, that is a beauty. I have always been a fan of keeping wood as is and not painting it. However, now I find myself wanting to paint a few pieces. I love your clock, and I think it is nice you restored it back to its glory!! Happy VTT!

I cannot believe you found that clock at that price regardless of the condition. You have worked wonders with it. Looks great now.
