Family heirloom oil lamp
My mother in law gave us this oil lamp a few years back.
I love the painting on it and the etching on the globe.
I keep it in our bedroom on a high dresser to try to keep it safe.

This is a picture of her when my husband was around 4.  I have always loved her smile.

Have a blessed Vintage Thing Thursday and make sure you visit others,
leave them a note I know it will bless them, it always does me.

Your oil lamp is just lovely. And your MIL is so pretty too, what a great photo!!

I tend to agree with you on prices at GW these days. I have discovered lately, things are priced almost at retail....but I still like to look, sometimes, I get good deals, other times, I have to really want something to pay the sticker price!!

Happy VTT!

When growing up, this was the only light we had. I have read many books and done my school work from lamps such as this. However, ours was not this pretty.
