I have decided to join another blog challenge! I happened on Music Monday when surfing some other art blogs. I love the idea of a challenge. This is my entry for this weeks challenge.
The words to the song are
"But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall"
My collage is of a tomb stone that I photographed last summer. It was my great, great grandmother. She died about 40 years before her husband.
The photo of the woman is also family "enhanced" with colored pencil. The man is from google clip art.The leaves and grasses at the bottom are from the yard.
I added a few words to the lines of the song and wrote a letter to his long lost love.
Rather a sad saga but I enjoyed creating it.

This is truely beautiful Debbie...I love artwork that is base on something meaningful to the artist...it always comes out extra nice....Wonderful work.
ooooh I really do like the scene. The tombstone makes it an enchanting love story. All the colors are beautiful.
