School Days 1935

Today I am joining Kard Krazy for Tag Tuesday.  I have been really busy so... I have done my tag to cover the week of School Days and Banners.  This picture is of my daddy in 1935.  He was 12.  My sister Ann of Tin and Sparkle used another picture of Dad and some of his brothers and sisters in a school photo.

Thanks for stoping in and make sure you go to Kard Krazy to check out last weeks School days and this next weeks challenge of using Banners.

Have a blessed week!
Debbie

Love this Deb. You did a great job, the trim of the bottom is so neat.

I agree, I love the way you used small tags for the banner, and the fact that it's a tag with your dad makes it that much more special! Love it!

(The colors of the trees on your banner tells me you must live in Northern IN closer to Michigan..we live in Southern IN and we just don't get that "pop" of color on our trees (doen't help that today is 93 degrees either). Makes me homesick (in a good way) to see colors of fall like that :)

A wonderful hommage to your dad.

Such a beautiful tag! I like the picture of the school desk. Those things obviously haven't changed very much, at least not at my daughter's school. Terrible for parents to sit in at Back-to-School night!

I love this tag. Great minds think alike.. I used a vintage photo of my little brother (14 yrs younger)on his way to school on his first day of 1st grade. He was such a cutie. Great job on getting both weeks done in one. I hope that you get your energy back soon. Take Care~ Sherry

PS~ My entry for Tag Tuesdays Challenge can be found on my blog at http://scrappingwithsherry1.blogspot.com/ if you would like to take a peek. Thanks!
