As an empty next family we tend to eat out way too often. I overheard my husband tell someone a few weeks ago that his favorite meal was meatloaf, scalloped potatoes and cherry pie. SO....
Mmmmm it was so good with vanilla ice cream!
Who says meatloaf and potatoes have to be boring?
I cut out the letters Love with cookie cutters then covered them with pepper so they would show up.
I love the opportunity to use myVINTAGE white tablecloth from Italy. I is now 30 years old so I don't use it often! My hubby insisted on a picture of me at the table. He is so sweet! Then HE did the dishes.
He truly is one of the best men in the world.
I am so blessed to have him in my life, 40 years now and still in love!
Doesn't he have the most amazing smile!

Oh I love your Valentine post, and your sentiment! I'm your newest follower.
Your husband and I share the same taste in food. This is so much better and nicer than getting in a crowd eating out.
40 years, that's so wonderful!
Love how you made everything so special, from the heart shaped meatloaf, to LOVE on the potatoes and your pie crust turned out so lovely!
Happy belated Valentine's Day to you and your sweetie!
