Heidelberg, Germany
We took these photos when we lived in Heidelberg in the 70 and 80"s
This view was taken from the Castle.  I always loved the red tile roofs. The church at the left center of the picture is the Holy Ghost Church.  Don't miss the  beautiful bridge across the river.
The tall white turrets are at the entrance of the bridge.  The city is built on the edge of the Neckar River .

My husband took this picture on the Castle grounds after we had had a picnic and day out with our children who were 4 and 6 at the time.

Linking up today with A Southern Daydreamer  for Outdoor Wednesday and
Sue Loves Cherries for Rednesday.
Make sure you go by and thank them for hosting these parties.

I bet that area has changed a lot since you were there in the 70s and 80s. Tuck away those memories. How sweet they are.

Thanks for taking me to a part of the world I will never see, Germany.

I'm wondering...was that castle bombed during WWII, or did it just deteriorate over time?

JUST THE RIGHT THING

Bright scarlet is just the right thing
To make a sad heart start to sing;
It fills you with cheer—
Now isn’t that clear?
It’s better than any old bling!
