Dream wedding... Church in the wildwood...

My sister who is mentally handicapped always dreamed of getting married.  She functions well but still lives with mom.  Several years ago I painted this for her.  It's not perfect but I love the colors and feel of the painting and wanted to share it with you for Blue Monday, Outdoor Wednesday and Redensday.

I also want to share a prayer request with you and ask that if you believe in the power of prayer you will copy the picture in the sidebar  and post  it.

Behind the smile is sometimes more pain than we can imagine.

My  wonderful 14 year old granddaughter needs a touch from the Lord.  May God of heaven reach down and touch her life with peace, joy and purpose.  Thank you and God Bless.

I am linking to all of these today and praying to get the word out for pray for my granddaughter.

Debra, so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Sometimes those less fortunate than others, tend to find happy days along with the bad. May the good Lord bless and keep her.

What a beautiful painting! You are talented.
I too have a brother.... same... he desires greatly to be married, or to have a girlfriend.
It breaks my heart when he talks to me about it.
I have & will be praying for your Lexi. She is beautiful. I did Youth ministry for 25 yrs. with teen girls & OH... they have to go thru so much these days... But be assured that God is holding her & will use this trial in her life someday for her good & for those around her.
Hold fast to His promises & know that as much as you love her, He loves her so much more.
(I am not sure about the copy/paste thing??? but will try it : )
Blessings....

What a sweet thing to do for your sister, and that painting is lovely. I know she must cherish it.

And I just prayed that the Lord would touch your granddaughter. So you can add me to those in agreement.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday and Blue Monday...
