Colorado countryside

Driving through Colorado
I love this part of the country.
It isn't uncomon as we drive to stop just to read a sign.

The Elk are amazing to see.  Love how the snow had still not completely melted.
This trip was taken in July of 2013.

Of course we had to stop at the Trail Ridge Store and Cafe Estes Park Elevation 11,796!

Stopped for a hike and loved these pink/purple flowers

A beautiful little stream through the area we were hiking.

 A majistic view.

The trail went through the valley into a higher wooded area.

Thanks for going along on our journey.  Blessings, Debbie

Debbie, You passed through my high altitude world! You took some wonderful shots along the way. Love the elk pics - what a big rack that male is sporting.

Crisp, clean air--how beautiful is that. The Elk is amazing. The winding stream is so pretty and inviting.
