Faith, Family and Friends.
Three Fab F's
Faith
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:19-21Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:2-4
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 5:1-3
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:12-14
Family
This was taken a couple of years ago with my sisters, cousins, nieces and some of their children at my sisters 60th birthday party. |
I have a wonderful family. What more could be wanted. I know families who have been torn apart by choices that have been made. I have an amazing husband of 41 years Extended family who can get together without stress and fighting. I have Sisters I can count on. Children I am proud of. Six amazing grandchildren.
Friends
One of the cruises we went on with several church friends. One we lost to cancer not too long after this was taken. |
Being 8 hours away from family can be difficult. It is such a blessing to have good friends in my life. We can play together, laugh and cry together.
I pray you have all three of these
FABULOUS F's in your life.
Also for F is Fireplace! Our furnace is broke Monday and has to be replaced so we are trying to stay warm with our fireplace. So thankful it is being replaced today!

I love your F's! I wasn't sure you'd see this so I'm posting my response to you here.
Debbie,
Thank you for your comment. It made me cry. Your granddaughter (and those in similar circumstances and situations) is one of the main reasons that I choose to write and share these things. To be hurt is easy, to be healed is hard- but healing is real and it is possible. It’s taken me a long time, but it’s like the Psalm says: He restoreth my soul. And he has. Slowly, over time, the Savior has restored bits and pieces back to me that I had thought were lost to me forever, including my innocence.
I hope when your granddaughter comes to read this, that she will take a moment to read this too, and know that she too, is a miracle.

Much love to you,

I wrote about family too! Mine are in NC and CA, while I'm in NY, so that's tricky.
