This picture was sent to me by a cousin I had never met. One of my dad's brothers, Frank, had passed away young and his wife and family moved away. A couple of weeks ago I saw a post on facebbok, don't you love pubblic media, it was about a poster his great granddaughter had done about the Snavely heritage. After making a comment, I was called by this cousin. He offered to send me a copy of all the information he had!
My favorite picture is the one below that I had never seen.
This was taken in 1923!
My father is the infant in his mothers arms. The others are some of his brothers and sisters.
This is amazing qualityfor such an old picture.
Don't you love my Grandmothers and Aunt's hats!
Have a great week
Blessings, Debbie

Wow! ~ Great photo of your Dad ~ what a treasure ~ (A Creative Harbor)
You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation however I to find this matter to be actually something which I feel I would by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very extensive for me. I am looking ahead on your next submit, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
What a treasure you were given with the photo. It's amazing how they can be improved by digitizing them...which I have done for many of my family photos on my Family Heritage Blog called...Tracks of My Texas Ancestors. You might enjoy some of my posts there. The Link is on my Sidebar. Also, my Followers Gadget is on the Sidebar, too. Just scroll down about half way and look for the Vintage Needle Packs...it's the Followers Tag.
Thanks for visiting CITexas Gal...I'm a new follower of your blog. I'm off to browse around. See ya again....Sue
