Class Room at Church: Outdoor scene with deer

This room was painted for the special education students in mind.  Not too busy and prayerfully calming.

If you look close you see all the right things to link with Outdoor Wednesday, Redensday (wood pecker and butterflies) and Watery Wednesday, the calm little lake.

This is the view of the whole wall.  It is 16 foot across.

I've shown this fawn before but never with all the background work.

My mother loves woodpeckers so this was added to honor her.   Love his bright read head.

Don't these little guys just look like they are ready for some fun?
 I am linking these to Outdoor Wednesdays. Watery Wednesday and Redensday.

What outstanding art work. The person doing this did a remarkable job on the walls. I love it.

Actually, the raccoons look ready for some mischief!
GIVE ME RED RIBBON

Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not yellow or purple or green;
But burgundy, chestnut, carmine or rose—
These are the colors with sheen!

Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not saffron or opal or blue;
But fuchsia, magenta, ruby or blush—
Something of sanguinous hue!

Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not indigo, azure or grey;
But scarlet, vermilion, dahlia or pink—
Colors like these make my day!

You're so talented! You're right, the mural is very calming and tranquil, and I'm wondering if you've hidden other wildlife that we can't see unless we enlarge it. Going to do that right now!
Happy REDnesday,
Carol

Absolutely wonderful. I know my son would have loved this mural when he was young - and it does look calming, too. Very pretty.

Debbie, it has been way too long since I have visited you. We have been away for many weeks and it is good to be home and visiting today.

The mural is gorgeous and so well done. The deer looks like he is coming right over to say hello. Tiis is all so outdoors wonderful.
