The grass is starting to grow after the work we did on the landing. And anyone know how to contain basil? Mine is out of control. It is the bush right behind the light at the foot of the steps. |
Woops, guess I should have clipped the dead flowers before this shot. |
The house is built on a small slope, just enough that watering was a problem last year. This year I built up two areas so I don't have as much run off when I water my plants. |
There are two rows of cucumbers on the trellis to the left that I will use ties to grow up the trellis. I will post more pictures when they are grown. If you look closely, I have a five foot stake right next to the wall to hold up the trellis. Hope you are having a great week! I'm the youngest here, my younger sister was born when I was nine. |
The fire pit is 36" across on the inside. The gravel ring is another 2 foot. Looking forward to the first fire. |
Love these flagstone. Because of the slope of the yard we had to do some backfilling of dirt so it wasn't another step for people to trip on in the dark. Seed is planted and we have had a soft rain for two days! Now that spring is here there should be blooms to use for our outdoor Wednesday's soon. Linking with Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.
