cruise 2013

April of 2013
Some wonderful friends own a condo in Naples, Florida.
They invited us to visit.
About 4 weeks before our trip they decided to take advantage of being in Florida and go on a Eastern Caribbean cruise.
We watched the prices until they dropped the week before the cruise then joined them!
We drove from Indiana to Georgia the first day.  I have a cousin there I had not seen in over 20 years.  They invited us to spend the night.  What a wonderful evening of meeting her new husband, and hearing how God brought them together a year after both of them were widowed.  We also got to meet several of the grown children and grands.

Day two we drove to Ft Lauderdale, spent the night and got on our ship, Royal Caribbean, Oasis of the Seas.  Right now,
The Oasis is still their largest ship but a new ship,
The Quantum, will be introduced in the Spring of next year.

On the ship there is an area called central park.  You really feel like you are in a park with restraunts on each side.  One of our favorite lunch places is in the park and is a salad cafe.

OUR FIRST STOP
NASSAU

ATLANTAS

A busy side street.  We spent the few hours on shore just walking around some of the side streets.

Linking today with..make sure you go by and visit others

My hubby just relaxing at one of the coffee shops on board.

Glad you had a nice cruise trip. I am off of them due to so many problems.

When you cruise, you pick the BEST! NCL is famous for being a prime cruise. I like your blue; thanks for sharing.

Happy Blue Monday, Debbie.

Thanks so much for sharing photos of your fun trip! That ship is just huge...I have been on a few cruises but none of them on a ship like that. I have never been on one that has a park on it either. It looks like a great experience.

Well it looks wonderful and you look like you are having such a good time. It's hard to imagine a ship that big.

I've heard that you never have to leave these ships and your photos prove it! I hope to get to see one myself one day!
