Blue Monday , Outdoor Wednesday & Rednesday

When I saw this in Home Journal I knew I wanted to scan it and use it.

We have been just lazing most of the weekend.  This is a shot I snuck of my sister Ann.
She had a few quiet moments on the dock without anyone else around.

Hmmm... facebooking...no she was playing a game on her phone.

My niece and her girls, Ann's daughter and granddaughters loved the jet skis.  The lake was a bit rougher than I like because there were so many of the weekenders down for the holiday.

Have a great week!  Blessings, Debbie

What an amazing service this morning.
God is so good !  I love our pastor for listening to HIM and preaching what God has given him.
We were especially blessed to have Bryan Duncan as a guest this morning.
I have added a you tube to my blog so you can hear his great take on Paul McCarthy's song with a spiritual twist that makes it worth listening to.
Pray you are having a blessed holiday.
Happy Independence Day.
Praise HIS name for our freedom.

Blessings, Debbie

Pink Saturday Fourth of July Celebration

Ok enough, throw me the ball!
One of my favorite pictures of my two oldest grandchildren.
They are now 15.
This was taken when they were 3 and 6 months old.
The Baseball gloves were their dad's and grandpa's.

I love the chance to share and hope you enjoyed these sweeties.

Blessings, Debbie

Outdoor Wednesday  Kansas Wild Sunflowers and Wheat fields

Welcome to my FILs place.  A couple of weeks ago I shared some of the pictures from our trip home to help with harvest.  These are more from that trip.
Can you feel the breeze?  I say you're not in Kansas if the wind isn't blowing.

This was taken alongside the dirt road by my FIL wheat fields.

My hubby and the combine he worked with

One of dads fields

It is said that Kansas is flat, that is true of the upper half of the state.
The family farm is in the area that is much more hilly.
These are called the
Kansas Gypsum Hills

I love these carved tree stumps on the old farm place shown below

This farm house isn't being lived in right now.
Dad plants and harvests the fields for the 93 year old man who owns it for a percentage of the crop.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to a part of Kansas you might not have seen before.

Blessings, Debbie
