Back on the Road Again

We had only been home for 8 weeks before we got back in the car and headed for Texas to visit our daughter and her family.  We would have gone earlier but decided to wait for the kids to be on Spring Break and our daughter to be off work.  She is a neonatal ICU nurse.  As always when we hit the road we took our time and enjoyed the ride.

Our beautiful family in Texas

Driving down the road we saw this cute travel trailer.  It was made from ONE TREE! I think it would be so fun to own.

Another stop on the road to visit this sweet church.  It was open for people to
go in even though it is no longer used for services.

Thought this was strange.  Something I had never seen.

We try to visit as many National Forests as possible when we travel.

Love this shadow shot!

Our grandson, who is getting ready to start his senior year was part of a one act play that took 3rd place in a state competition.

This "mirror image" is our daughter and her daughter.  Amazing look alikes.

Well, that's about it for this trip.  Next week I will share about our cruise we took in March.

Thanks for stopping by.  Blessings, Debbie

Holland

I thought it would be fun to share the same place my sis Ann of Tin and Sparkle shared!  I even stole one of her pictures off her sight.  It's one I didn't have of our children.  They are all grown up and parents themselves now.  Oh how time flies and oh the Places I have been.

Holland

My hubby was stationed in Germany when in the Army.  After another 3 years back stateside he left the military and he took a job on the same base in Germany where we had been stationed.  One of the highlights we shared  was when Ann and her family came for a long visit.  Such wonderful memories.

Cousins L to R my daughter K, Ann's Daughter A my son JR and Ann's son K
As you can tell from the picture my two were a bit mischievous, especially our son who managed to cut his hand with his swiss knife we had bought.  Thank goodness Ann's husband knew how to get the bleeding to stop without stitches.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you visit others at this fun blog party.
Blessings, Debbie
