Merry Christmas to all my wonderful new friend!

Linking up with Beverly for Pink Saturday.
Hope you have time in the busyness  of  this week to enjoy your family and friends.

Just got home from our first Christmas celebration.

Our son playing a song for us.  He is a single dad who has full custody of his daughter.  He will graduate in May and plans on going on to IU for a higher degree.

Our Beautiful oldest granddaughter.  She is such a sweetheart! Very talented.  She is singing for me as I write this.  I wish you could hear her awesome voice!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PICTURE!

Our son and his fiance cooking at his place.

A wonderful meal!  Have a blessed Christmas!

Does every little girl love christmas?

Over the years I kept my dolls. The house is too small to keep them out all year so  they only come out to play at Christmas.

This small one's dress was gone.  I love her green eyes and red hair.  I made her dress several years ago out of one of my grandmothers doilies'  that had a hole in it. Sorry about the look of her eyes.  One eye is missing the lashes and I didn't realize how strange the picture would look until my wonderful hubby mentioned the "evil eye" lol

This doll was a favorite to play with.  Again those wonderful green eyes and formed hair in a pony tail.

My life size doll. A friend for sure.  She actually stayed out for years until she got knocked over and her neck cracked in the back.  Now I don't risk her getting hurt.

This sweet girl is about 18 " long.  I had her when I was very young and actually chewed off the fingers of her left hand.  When I was "too old" for dolls I gave her to my grandmother who had a doll collection.  When she was in her 80's she gave her back.  Bless her wonderful gift of saving her for me until I realized no girl is too old to love her dolls.

I know according to "antique" rules these probably aren't vintage but they are over 50 years old.

I do believe
I finally understand snow birds!

This song was on my mind when I walked Jasmine this morningBurr 13 degrees, snow and lots of wind.

I wanted to share a wall I painted several years ago in a church nursery. If you click on the picture it will enlarge it. My favorite part is the baby polar bear trying to catch the fish. What's yours?

Have a great Blue Monday! Blessings as you prepare for Christmas!

9. Sweet Little Jesus Boy - Casting Crowns

GOOD MORNING MY WONDERFUL BLOGGER FRIENDS!
Today I want to share my dinning room with you.

The dinning room is an open room from the kitchen.  You can see the island counter in the foreground.

I put away most of my tea pots and bring out only the ones I use for the Holidays. The Snowman pot on the top shelf did have both the creamer and sugar bowl but I guess you could say the bowl "melted" away during the summer because she was broken.  The next pot on the top is a sweet christmas house.  My large santa pitcher is a favorite. The wine pitcher is hand made and was bought from the artist in Canada on a trip there. On the second shelf in the center is a tea set I leave out all year also purchased in Canada on a small island by the artist.

I love the Winterberry dishes . I have been picking up more pieces over the years in the after Christmas sales. I now have a service for 8 yeah!

A second tree in my house is new this year.  You girls just inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and go to town. Well literally, Wallie World. lol The tree is decorated with all my kitchen ornaments. tea pots, and many of the Hallmark series of little mice with spoons etc.
The dolls are both "vintage" If you want to call US vintage.  The doll standing was given to me for Christmas when I was 6.  The smaller doll is older, I just know I have always loved her. I was young enough I actually chewed off her fingers on her left hand.
And the beautiful lille doll below is my   precious youngest granddaughter.  She is actually 6 now but I love this picture.  I had painted the overalls for her and she and her mommy loved them.

Have a great week, I'm sure many of you will, like me, be starting your Christmas celebrations this week.
Be blessed and take care to love one another.

I love Christmas time. Getting to bring out all the special decorations and sharing them with you all this year is such a joy.
Thanks Beverly for allowing us to  enjoy all the great bloggers ideas!
This frame was in my art room and I stapled a Christmas throw I have used for several years on the couch.
I love the way it turned out.

The snow on the tree looks like cotton in this picture but it is just flocked.
Our fireplace.  It's hard to hang garland on the brick but I figured out using a tension curtain rod worked!
